First week back from vacation and it's review time. Céline actually worked for most of the holidays so she didn't have a lot of time to practice. We started off the lesson by concentrating on technique. I noticed during the warm up exercises that Céline's left hand position was a little awkward. I suggested an alternate thumb placement. She found it a bit difficult at first because she was used to her way. She's going to work on it over the next week. With this in mind, we then reviewed all her scales. Next, we played through all her chord progressions, which sounded really good. We finished the lesson by playing one of the songs she's been working on. Overall, it was a good review and a great lesson.
