Along with the eight student bands that will be performing on May 30th, there will be three original bands from the west end. One of these three bands is Against The Measures. Here is how they describe themselves on their Myspace page "We have a bit of punk, some acoustic, some heavy deathcore, and some nice plain old hard rock. Combine that with some female singing, rap and you get a hell of a band!" Another original band that will be performing is After The Weather. Here's how Hero Hill describes them, "...The guitars are moody and atmospheric, but still carry a rawness with them and are balanced nicely by the stellar bass lines that Rob Helsten delivers. If the vocals and guitar are the heart of After the Weather, Helston’s riff and fills are the soul..." I'm really looking forward to hearing them!
