Today was week three of our It Came From The Garage! rock band course. We have a completely new group of people this session. From left to right we've got Vince(guitar/bass), Phil (drums), Saskia (lead vocals), Katie (guitar/bass) and Vanessa ((guitar/bass). The band is starting to sound good already. We have a new addition to the teaching staff this session. I am working with Marla, who is an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist and teacher with over twenty years of experience in the music business. We will also be collaborating with Dave, who owns a recording studio called DNA. He will be giving recording courses that will happen in conjunction with our rock band courses. His students will record our band's demos. It's pretty exciting! As well, our yet to be named band will be featured at the next It Came From the Garage! show, which will take place on Friday, December 15th at the Royal Canadian Legion on Addington and de Maisonneuve in N.D.G..
