Tonight, Rob played his first show. Several weeks ago, Rob told me that he and his brother Kenny were going to play a few songs at Rob's upcoming work Christmas party. His brother's guitar teacher was supposed to be playing with them so Rob asked if I would come along as well. Rob picked me up at 8:30 and I had no idea where we were going. We ended up at Le Biftheque restaurant on Cote de Liesse road. There were at least 80 or 90 people. It was a pretty happening party. Rob found out that there was a drummer present as well as a singer/ harmonica player. Around 10:30, we started to get ready. I had no idea what to expect since I had never heard anyone but Rob play. We started off with "Rock Me Baby" by B.B. King and it went really well! The drummer held it together, Kenny played bass, Kenny's guitar teacher played keyboards and I filled in on guitar. The singer was really good and his harp playing sounded great. Then, I switched to bass and we played five more songs. The crowd loved it. Rob played really well. Then, around 11:00, we packed up and Rob gave me a lift home.
